Program Curriculum

UNC Charlotte Teacher Quality Partnerships Program participants have the opportunity to 1) gain a dual license in both a hard-to-staff content area (math, science, English language arts, Career and Technical Education, and foreign language) and K-12 Teaching English as a Second Language, and 2) complete a master’s degree (advanced license) in less than 18 months. Upon completion of the initial licensure residency program (Phase I), candidates will complete additional online coursework (Phase II) to complete the M.A.T. with a concentration in their area of expertise (e.g., mathematics, science, English language arts, Career and Technical Education, or foreign language).
